Report on direct permissions
Direct access rights should be avoided at all costs and replaced by group access rights. Direct access rights are inefficient because every user has to be managed independently. Additionally, each directory must be individually examined to ensure that all direct permissions are removed.
The All users with direct access report includes all direct permissions on your file server(s) in one simple report.
Create the report
-
Log in to the Access Rights Manager application.
-
Click Start in the toolbar.
-
Under Documentation & Reporting, click All users with direct access.
-
Configure the report settings.
-
In the Title and Comment fields, enter a title and comment for the report.
-
In the Objects box, define the report range.
-
Maximize the Settings menu and select the desired report settings.
-
Click Start to generate the report.
