Manage Microsoft Teams teams
Background/Value
Microsoft Teams is used by more and more companies for collaboration and communication. The familiar scope of ARM is also available to Microsoft Teams for analysis as well as for managing access rights and team memberships.

Create a team
- Select the resource view.
- Expand Teams.
- Right-click the desired Teams node.
- Select Create Team from the context menu.
- Mandatory: Set the owner of the team.
- Mandatory: Enter a name and a description.
- Set the desired teams settings.
- Specify credentials. This is only necessary if not preconfigured in the change configuration.
- You must enter a comment.
- Start the execution.
Manage team memberships
- Select the resource view.
- Navigate to the desired team. You can alternatively use the search to find the team.
- Right-click the desired Team and select "Modify access rights..." from the context menu.
- Use the search to find the desired user or group.
Please note that you can only add users or groups from Azure AD.
- Use drag&drop to add the user/group as a member or owner of the team.
- Select an already assigned user/group and click the red cross to remove it.
- Click Apply.
Change team properties
- Select the resource view.
- Navigate to the desired team. You can alternatively use the search to find the team.
- Right-click the desired team and select "Edit settings" from the context menu.
- Set the desired teams settings.
- Specify credentials. This is only necessary if not preconfigured in the change configuration.
- You must enter a comment.
- Start the execution.
Delete a team
- Select the resource view.
- Navigate to the desired team. You can alternatively use the search to find the team.
- Right-click the desired Team and select "Delete Team" from the context menu.
- Enable the option.
- Specify credentials. This is only necessary if not preconfigured in the change configuration.
- You must enter a comment.
- Start the execution.
