Add Azure AD resources

Before you begin, configure access in the Azure portal so you can configure an Azure AD resource.

1. Start the Configuration application.

2. Click Scans.

   

3. Click Azure AD.

   

4. In the Process Credentials window, select the credentials for the process account, and then click Apply.

   SolarWinds recommends leaving the input fields blank. ARM will use the service account from the base configuration.
   The account will not be used to scan the Azure AD. This account will be set up in a later step.

   

5. In the Azure AD selection window, click the highlighted link.

   

6. Enter the access data you created when you set up the Azure portal, and then click Apply.

   

   1. Enter the application ID as the user name.

   2. Enter the client secret as the password.

   3. Enter the online domain.

7. In the Azure AD selection window, select a resource and an assigned collector.

   

   1. Select the checkbox for the desired resource.

   2. Select one or more collectors. Ensure that the selected collector servers have an Internet connection.

8. Click Apply.
