File server (FS) resources
You can integrate file server (FS) resources into ARM. When the integration is completed, all ARM users can analyze, manage, and report on file server permissions.
See Access Rights Manager service account permissions located in the system requirements for details about the required service account permissions.
If ARM cannot read the share permissions of a share because access is denied (error 5), for example, on Linux/Samba shares or DFS folders, ARM assumes Everyone: Full Control as the share permission, logs a warning, and continues scanning the NTFS permissions. These shares are no longer skipped during the scan.
