New features and improvements in ARM
Web client: Analyze scenario about externally shared files and folders on OneDrive and SharePoint Online
A new scenario is available in the ARM web client that lists files and folders shared externally on OneDrive and SharePoint Online.
Web client: Add or remove permissions on file server directories
In the web client resource view, you can now remove and grant permissions to users on file server directories.
Web client: Create a new folder on file server resources
In the web client resource view, you can now create new folders.
Web client: New login and linking into the webclient
The web client login page includes a new design to match the look and feel of other SolarWinds products.
Key data from Access Rights Manager, such as ratings from the Risk Assessment Dashboard and current information about Active Directory, are configurable as widgets in the HCO dashboards. Through the new deep linking, you can directly display a linked scenario in ARM web client after you log in.
ARM version 2022.4 (or higher) is required for integration with HCO. Version 2023.2 (or higher) is required to use deep links.

New customer installation
ARM and SolarWinds platform or Orion Platform products must be installed on separate servers. Note that ARM is not a SolarWinds platform or Orion Platform product.

How to upgrade
If you are upgrading from a previous version, see Perform an update installation located in the Access Rights Manager Installation and Upgrade /Guide for directions.
Beginning in version 2020.2, the ARM server has been renamed from pnServer.exe to armServer.exe. Please note this change if you have set up the appropriate firewall rules.

| Issue: If the SAM account name contains a space, the login will not work with entering the user name in the form "user@domain". |
| Resolution/Work-around: Use the user name in the format "domain\user". |

| Issue: When using user-defined templates, AccountSearchTextField does not work for manager assignment. |
| Resolution/Work-around: Use a standard input field or, if possible, a drop-down menu. |
| Updating FS Logga components on Windows file servers |
|---|
| Issue: In some cases, automatic or manual updating of FS-Logga components on Windows file servers may fail. |
| Resolution/Work-around: Start the setup on the Windows file server and select the Repair option. The repair function removes the installation and reinstalls the components. |
| Active Directory accounts not resolved |
|---|
| Issue: In some cases, new installations may experience Active Directory (AD) scanning issues when scanning through a collector or ARM server installed on a domain controller (DC). This can result in AD accounts not resolving correctly under these conditions. Existing installations are not affected. |
| Resolution/Work-around: Install the ARM server or collector service on a different server, not on DCs. |
