Analyze historical access rights situations

To prevent data breaches and other security incidents, review the historical access rights on a regular basis. This practice can help you identify users in your organization who had access to a resource at a specific moment in time. ARM allows you to access historical scans to understand the security implications of access rights when an incident occurs.

1. Log in to the Access Rights Manager application.

2. On the Home page, click the Latest scans drop-down menu and select a scan date.

   

   The warning icon and the yellow toolbar indicate that you are viewing historical data.

   

3. Review the historical access rights information as needed.
