Report on mailbox permissions

The Exchange mailbox permissions report lists the Exchange mailbox access rights.

This report includes:

  • Mailbox permissions
  • Mailbox folder permissions
  • Mailbox properties
  • Delegates for mailboxes
  • Out of office notices

Mailboxes and their associated directories require a high degree of security. These directories often include excessive access rights. To prevent unauthorized access, it is imperative to monitor these rights because these folders often include emails with sensitive information.

Create the report

  1. Log in to the Access Rights Manager application.

  2. Click Start in the toolbar.

  3. Under Documentation & Reporting, click Exchange mailbox permissions.

  4. Configure the report settings.

    1. In the Title and Comment fields, enter a title and comment for this report.

    2. In the Resources box, define the report range and layout.

    3. Click the Settings drop-down menu and define the desired output settings.

    4. Click Start to generate the report.
