Manage group memberships

Using ARM, you can manage group memberships and analyze group nesting.

  1. Log in to the Access Rights Manager application.

  2. In the toolbar, click Accounts.

  3. Using the Search field, locate the targeted account.

  4. In the Graph pane, right-click the targeted account and select Change group memberships.

    You can also use Edit group memberships on the ARM home page.

  5. Add a group membership.

    1. Use the Search field to locate the desired user or group.

    2. Drag the targeted group to the center column to create a new group membership (or parent).

    3. Drag the targeted user and group to the right column to add new group member (or child).

    4. Right-click a member to remove the membership (parent and child) immediately or on a designated date.

    5. (Required) Add a comment regarding the group membership addition.

    6. Click Immediately to save your changes or save and schedule the change to a later date.
