Run collectors in foreign (non-trusted) domains
To include resources from non-trusted domains in ARM, instal a collector in these domains.
Depending on your network configuration, the automatic update process for collectors in these domains may be problematic. If you are unable to install a collector, use the ARM Installer to manually perform this procedure. See Install additional collectors for instructions.
When the installation is completed, add the collector to the configuration using the Configuration application.
It is no longer possible to add collectors by IP address.
To use a name for the collector in foreign domains (non-trusted), extend the hosts files on the ARM server and the collector server in the foreign domain.
