Identify permissions on distribution groups

ARM allows you to identify users allowed to send emails as delegates from a specific distribution list. These delegates include Send as and Send on behalf of.

The Send as delegates are the most critical because you cannot identify who sent the email. The Send on behalf of delegates are not as critical because you can identify who is sending the email.

ARM also works with dynamic Exchange groups.

  1. Log in to the Access Rights Manager application.

  2. In the Start tab home page, enter a search term in the Search field that identifies your targeted distribution group. For example, sales.

    ARM displays the search results with Sales in the Distribution Group category.

  3. Click the targeted distribution group.

  4. In the left column, click the Access rights tab to displays the access rights for your targeted distribution group.
