Activate or deactivate simple approvals for data owners

1. Log in to the Access Rights Manager application as an administrator.

2. On the Start page, click Requests to locate open approval requests.

   Simple approvals without GrantMA do not include any active notification functionality.

   

3. Log in to the Configuration application as an administrator.

4. In the application, click Change Configuration.

   

5. Under Common Change Settings, click Authorization.

   

6. In the Authorization screen, select Deactivate or Activate.

   The authorization settings do not affect GrantMA workflows.

   Click Deactivated to execute changes made by data owners without further approval.

   

   Click Activated to require approval by an ARM Administrator to approve changes made by a data owner.
