This topic applies to all SolarWinds Platform products.
Configure the settings related to ICMP and SNMP requests.
Click Settings > All Settings, and in the Thresholds & Polling group, click Polling Settings to configure the settings.
Configure the way SolarWinds Platform products poll your network.

Perform reverse DNS lookup | Selected | Select this option if you want your product to complete reverse DNS lookups for monitored DHCP nodes. |
Enable Downtime Monitoring | Selected | Clear the box to disable interface downtime monitoring, thus improving SolarWinds NPM performance. |
