Understand Nutanix sensor status mapping
This topic applies only to the following products:
SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted
SAM — VMAN
The following table describes about how Nutanix sensor statuses translate to the SolarWinds Platform for Hardware Health monitoring.
| Nutanix status | Description | SolarWinds Platform status |
|---|---|---|
| Fan | ||
| cr | critical | Critical |
| nc | non-critical | Warning |
| nr | non-recoverable | Critical |
| ok | OK | Up |
| ns | non-specified | Unknown |
| PSU | ||
| Present, OK | PSU is present. | Up |
| CPU | ||
| Populated | CPU is present. | Up |
| Empty | CPU is not present. | Unknown |
| Populated, Disabled | CPU is present but disabled. | Disabled |
If the Nutanix API does not provide a sensor status, the SolarWinds Platform sets the status to Unknown and that value can be modified by custom thresholds.
