Configure tabs for modern dashboards

Starting with 2024.4, you can define horizontal tabs for modern dashboards.

Add tabs

1. Click the pencil icon on a modern dashboard.

2. Click the vertical ellipsis in the menu bar and click Configure Dashboard Tabs.

3. Define the tabs:

   • To create a new tab, provide a name in the Add New Dashboard field and click the plus icon. This creates a new blank dashboard with the name you provided.
   • To add an existing dashboard as a tab, click the plus icon next to it.

   

   The dashboard is added as tabs are shown in the Tabs list on the right.

4.  Review tab names and order the tabs if appropriate.
   • To reorder the tabs, drag the handle in front of the tab and drag the tab on its new position.
   • To rename the tab, change the name in the field.

5. Click Save. Your changes are saved and you can finish configuring your dashboard. The dashboard is displayed as the first tab. When you finish editing the dashboard and click Done editing, the tabs are displayed.

Add widgets to a tab

1. Go to the tab you want to edit and click the pencil icon in the top right corner of the view.

2. Add widgets. See Add widgets on a modern dashboard.
