Mobile application: Service Catalog

Introduction

The SolarWinds Service Desk (SWSD) Service Catalog module in the mobile application provides a list of approved services provided by your service desk. You can create a request for an approved service directly from this list.

Navigation

When the mobile application opens, by default it opens to a list of incidents and service requests.

You can switch to any other module by clicking the 3-line menu in the black area above the list. A list of the modules then displays.

From the list of modules, select Service Catalog. The list of All Services displays.

Search or filter

From the black area above the list you can search for an available service or filter the list of services.

Tap the magnifying glass to search for an incident.

Tap the funnel to filter the contents of the list by category.

A new list then displays the categories you can choose from. You can also tap the magnifying glass to search for a category.

Submit a request

  1. Tap a service from the All Services list.

  2. Notice that a set of Select Options displays. Some options might already be populated. It is best practice to provide as much information as possible in any request. Tap your way through all of the options and provide the requested information as appropriate.

  3. If needed, you can also add attachments by clicking the paper clip in the black area at the top.
