Procurement settings

Introduction

SolarWinds Service Desk (SWSD) options configured through Procurement Settings are global and affect your entire instance of SolarWinds Service Desk. Global settings establish the foundation of how your Service Desk will look, feel, and behave. Only administrators can make changes in Setup.

Navigation

Setup > Global Settings > Procurement Settings

Setup > Global Settings > Procurement Settings Organization (or Service Provider) > Global Settings > Service Desk Settings

Setting options

Auto update to fully received

When enabled, the status of purchase orders will automatically change to Fully Received. When the ordered quantities for all line items are received.

Allow receiving excess quantities

When enabled, you can record quantities received that exceed the quantity ordered.
