Mobile application: Tasks

Introduction

The SolarWinds Service Desk (SWSD) Tasks module in the mobile application provides a list of all active tasks and their status.

Navigation

When the mobile application opens, by default it opens to a list of incidents and service requests.

You can switch to any other module by clicking the 3-line menu in the black area above the list. A list of the modules then displays.

From the list of modules, select Tasks. The list of all active tasks displays.

Filter

From the black area above the list you can filter the list of tasks.

Tap the funnel to filter the contents of the list.

A new list then displays the filter options you can choose from. You can also tap the magnifying glass to search for a category.

The list of filter options includes:

  • Active tasks
  • All tasks
  • My tasks
  • Overdue tasks
  • My overdue tasks
  • New tasks
  • Recently updated

View tasks

From the list of modules, select Tasks to see a list of tasks and approvals. You can also complete assigned tasks from here.

View the information in a saved task

From the list of tasks, you can see the status of the task and its type. You can also see the assignee.

To dig deeper into a task, tap it to open, and then tap Source .
