SolarWinds Service Desk November 2023 release notes

These release notes describe the new features and improvements in SolarWinds Service Desk (SWSD). In addition, they provide information about upgrades and detailed workarounds for known issues.

If you are looking for earlier release notes for SWSD, see previous release notes.

New features

  • Dynamic approvers is available for Change Catalog. Dynamic approver workflows are now available for change catalog items. See Dynamic approvers.

  • Modify inputs after incident or service request submission. In Labs, you can enable a feature that allows agents to restart a workflow or edit fields after ticket submission. For more information, see Service catalog.

Improvements

  • Jira integration formatting enhancement. Rich-text formatting is now available with Jira integration.

  • Added software services agreement details to account summary. Customers can now see details regarding their SSA agreement. See Account summary: Agreements.

  • Added ability to see which user accounts were updated within a specific date range. SWSD now contains a filter called Updated which you can use to identify updated user accounts on the Users index page. You can also use this new filter in the API by using the Updated_at parameter. See List view or Users API call.
