Organization-branded notifications

Introduction

In SolarWinds Service Desk (SWSD), many organizations choose to use their own branding, such as logo and color scheme.

  • Some want to ensure that all of the service desk notifications appear to come from their organization’s domain rather than from samanage to avoid customer confusion.

  • Some want the notifications to be specific to the service category (for example, network access, application deployment, or HR).

Navigation

Setup > Service Desk > Notifications.

Benefits

Eliminate requester confusion about who provides a service by allowing administrators to:

  • Choose a dedicated From address for each category email dropbox.

  • Choose whether the dropbox notifications’ From field includes both the service desk name and the category name, or just the category name.
