These release notes describe the new features and improvements in SolarWinds Service Desk (SWSD). In addition, they provide information about upgrades and detailed workarounds for known issues.

Microsoft Power BI Connector is available. Use the SolarWinds Service Desk Power BI connector, available in the Microsoft Power BI Marketplace, to analyze incident SWSD data. See Power BI Connector.

Jira sychronizes all public comments. SolarWinds has enhanced the integration between SWSD and Jira so that all public comments created in SWSD are now synchronized with Jira. This includes comments created in SWSD before the issue was created in Jira.

New sort options for the Connections table. You can now sort by the state of the asset, the credentials, or the next scan. See List View for instructions on sorting.

Filter the Network Devices table by scanner name. You can now add a column called Scanner Name and filter by the name of a scanner. See List View for instructions on filtering.

Use time-based conditions to identify tickets with no agent public comments. You can set a rule that identifies tickets with no agent comments, and mark the rule so that only public comments are counted and private comments are excluded. See Time-Based Automations.

Relate more objects to each other. You can now relate same object types (incidents, problems, changes, etc.) to each other, for example, incidents to incidents and problems to problems. You can also relate multiples of different object types to a single object. You now have more flexibility when relating to different object types.

Search for network devices and perform mass actions from the Network Devices index page. Using a group action you can now edit the device type or delete/hide network devices by using the multi-select option in the Network Devices table. You can also search for specific devices. See Network devices.
