Stay up to date with database health widgets

The Events tab has widgets that concentrate on the health of your monitored databases and the events that affect their performance. The following widgets are displayed on the Events tab.

Overall Health

A health score provides real-time insight into the overall health and performance of your monitored entities. The health score is calculated based on anomalies detected for the entity, alerts triggered for the entity's metrics, and the status of the entity. The health score is displayed as a single numerical value that ranges from a Good (70-100) to Moderate (40-69) to Bad (0-39) distinction. To view individual monitored databases and their details in the Entity Explorer, click the widget title or click the vertical ellipsis in the upper-right corner of the widget and select View all databases.

The number of queries displayed on the Events tab includes internal queries.

Active Alerts

An overview of the active alerts triggered by databases, categorized by severity. Active alerts are alerts that have been triggered but not cleared. This includes acknowledged alerts.

For more information about the entity's active alerts, click the widget title or click the vertical ellipsis () in the upper-right corner of the widget and click View All Active Alerts.

Number of Queries

Displays the numbers of recorded queries and the percentage of change from the selected time period. This widget also displays the number of users and clients, and their percentage of change from the selected time period.

Database Instances # of Sessions

Displays the number of active and idle sessions for the selected database instance type. Filter between MySQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Redis database instance sessions. Click a sessions chart legend (Active Sessions or Idle Sessions) to only display that session type.

Event Details

Use the Event Timeline to visualize the frequency of the recorded events.
