Area overviews

Area overviews are non-customizable dashboards, based on a monitoring area. The data in the widgets cover all entities being monitored. You can access area overviews for individual monitoring areas in the left pane of the SolarWinds Observability application.

DEM area overview

The DEM area overview displays metric data collected from all monitored websites. To access the area overview, click DEM in the left pane. See Websites area overview for more information.

APM area overview

The APM area overview gathers performance metrics from all services powering your application. To access the area overview, click APM in the left pane. See Services area overview for more information.

Databases area overview

When database instances are monitored, the metric data for all entities is summarized in widgets in the Databases area overview. To access the area overview, click Databases in the left pane. See Databases area overview for more information.

Networks area overview

The Network area overview displays metric data collected from all monitored network devices over the selected time period. To access the area overview, click Network in the left pane. See Network area overview for more information.

Infrastructure area overview

The Infrastructure area overview collects data from your self-managed hosts, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and Kubernetes. To access the area overview, click Infrastructure in the left pane. See Infrastructure area overview for more information.

Groups area overview

In the Group area overview, you can observe widgets collecting data from all monitored entity groups.
