Configure Snowflake integration
To integrate Snowflake with SolarWinds Observability SaaS:

In SolarWinds Observability SaaS, click Add Data at the top.

In the Add Data dialog Intro, click the Integrations tab, and then click Snowflake.

In the Add Snowflake dialog, select a host with the SolarWinds Observability Agent you want to use for Snowflake and click Next.
To only display Agents running in a Kubernetes cluster, click the List only Agents... toggle.
If you want to install a dedicated Agent on a dedicated host, add the host and then add the Snowflake integration. See Add a self-managed host.

In the Credentials dialog, specify credentials to be used for authentication.
- To create a new set of credentials, select Add New Credential, provide a name for the set, a username, and a password. Then click Create and Next.
- To use credentials that have already been used, select Use Existing Credential, select an item from the drop-down list, and click Next.

Review the configuration and click Next.

Provide a Display Name.

Review the Collection Interval.

Provide your Snowflake account identifier. Use the format
<OrganizationName>-<YourAccountName>
. See Account Identifiers in Snowflake documentation. -
Provide a warehouse to be monitored.

Review the default values for Schema, Database, and Role. Adjust the values if appropriate and click Deploy.
This deploys an Agent with the OTel-monitoring plugin that connects to and queries a Snowflake deployment.

When the installation is complete, you can continue to observe Snowflake data. Use the buttons on the Summary screen.
To view data collected for the newly configured entity in the Entity Explorer, click the name of the Snowflake instance in the confirmation dialog in the lower-left corner. It may take a few seconds for data to appear for the newly created entity. See Entity Explorer for details.
