Cloud Accounts settings

To access the Cloud Accounts settings, click Settings in the left-hand navigation, and click Cloud Accounts.

The Cloud Accounts page lists the total number of cloud accounts connected with your SolarWinds Observability SaaS organization. Currently, you can monitor AWS cloud hosts and Azure cloud hosts.

Click the name of the account provider to access the cloud account settings for that provider.

When the cloud account is enabled, SolarWinds Observability SaaS will seek and receive data related to your cloud resources. When disabled, your SolarWinds Observability SaaS will no longer seek data related to your cloud resources.

If you configure your AWS cloud account to send log data to SolarWinds Observability SaaS, you will continue to receive log data in the Logs Explorer even after you disable or delete the cloud account. To discontinue sending log data to SolarWinds Observability SaaS, you must remove the Lambda function. For information, see the Remove the Lambda function.

Amazon Web Services

The page lists all AWS cloud accounts connected with your SolarWinds Observability SaaS organization. The table shows the display name of the cloud account, its status (Disabled or Active), and the toggler that allows you to either enable or disable the cloud account.

To edit or delete a cloud account, hover over the table row to display a vertical ellipsis in the last column. Click the vertical ellipsis and click either Edit or Delete and follow the prompts.

The Edit wizard includes the same options as the wizard to add an Azure cloud host. For more information, see Add an AWS cloud host.

To integrate your AWS account with SolarWinds Observability SaaS, click Add cloud account in the top-right of the page. For more information, see Add an AWS cloud host.

Microsoft Azure

The page lists all Azure cloud accounts connected with your SolarWinds Observability SaaS organization. The table shows the display name of the cloud account, its status (Disabled or Active), and the toggler that allows you to either enable or disable the cloud account.
