Migrate cloud infrastructure monitoring from AppOptics to SolarWinds Observability SaaS

SolarWinds Observability SaaS Cloud Observability (AWS and Azure) provides real-time visibility of your cloud resources with its metrics streaming capability, which enables you to react to potential problems much more quickly. Consolidated health scores based on golden metrics visually identify anomalies and quickly highlight issues. SolarWinds Observability SaaS Cloud Observability filters the noise and provides real-time insights into the health and performance of your cloud resources in a single integrated view, which accelerates troubleshooting. SolarWinds Observability SaaS Cloud Observability also provides tag-based ingestion and selective monitoring of your cloud resources.

SolarWinds Observability SaaS Cloud Observability currently provides in-depth observability for 36 key AWS services and 28 key Azure services, with additional key service coverage coming in future releases.

SolarWinds Observability SaaS Cloud Observability (AWS) provides auto-discovery of the cloud workloads running in your AWS cloud infrastructure, collecting key metrics, logs, events, and traces. This data is displayed in SolarWinds Observability SaaS Cloud Observability in real time with a relationship topology between the cloud components, which accelerates MTTD (mean time to detect) and MMTR (mean time to resolution).

The use of the SolarWinds Observability SaaS Agent (host monitoring plugin) for cloud infrastructure monitoring enables SolarWinds Observability SaaS to collect more granular metrics than AppOptics collects (such as memory in EC2 instances).
