Kubernetes area overview

An overview summary of all monitored Kubernetes entities is available with the other Infrastructure area overviews. This summary includes a selection of widgets displaying key metric data for the Kubernetes entities.

Overall Health

A health score provides real-time insight into the overall health and performance of your monitored entities. The health score is calculated based on anomalies detected for the entity, alerts triggered for the entity's metrics, and the status of the entity. The health score is displayed as a single numerical value that ranges from a Good (70-100) to Moderate (40-69) to Bad (0-39) distinction.

Active Alerts

An overview of the active alerts triggered by clusters, categorized by severity. Active alerts are alerts that have been triggered but not cleared. This includes acknowledged alerts.

For more information about the entity's active alerts, click the widget title or click the vertical ellipsis () in the upper-right corner of the widget and click View All Active Alerts.

Events

The Events widget provides a breakdown of Kubernetes events across your clusters, grouped by error, warning and normal.

Clusters per Infrastructure Provider

The Clusters per Infrastructure Provider widget shows the number of Kubernetes clusters for each Infrastructure Provider. Infrastructure Provider categories include Azure, AWS, and Other.

Inventory

The Inventory widget summarizes the status of key Kubernetes entities across all your clusters, including Nodes, Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, APM Services, and Databases. For each entity, it displays either a health score (for Clusters) or a status breakdown (for Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, etc.)

Utilization

The Utilization widget displays average CPU usage across all clusters over specified time range. You can switch the metric (e.g., Memory, Storage) using the dropdown menu. The chart is color-coded per cluster.

Last 10 Changes

The Last 10 Changes widget lists the most recent Kubernetes manifest changes across all the clusters. Clicking on a row opens a modal window that compares the previous version of the entity manifest with the latest. To filter changes by type (e.g., Created, Updated, Removed), use the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the widget.

Clusters

Overview of all monitored clusters, filtered by Health Score and Name. You can choose to view the information as a list or as grid. Clicking the cluster name opens the cluster details.

Side filters & Global search

Side filters are located on the left side of the summary page, and the global search bar is positioned at the top. Using either the filters or the search, you can filter the cluster-related data displayed across all the widgets. By default, the global search filters by cluster name if no specific search syntax is used.
