Manually clear an active alert
When the condition that triggered an alert is no longer true, the alert is cleared automatically. It is no longer listed with the active alerts. If necessary, you can manually clear an active alert, even if the triggering condition is still true.

Alert clearing delay
By default, alerts are cleared immediately when the alert condition is no longer met. However, you can set a delay and have the alert be cleared after a specified duration once the condition returns to normal. If the condition remains stable for the duration of the specified delay, the alert is cleared. Otherwise, the timer resets and the alert remains active.
This can reduce alert flapping caused by transient recoveries, prevent duplicate incidents in integrations, ensure alerts are only cleared after the system is stable, and improve reliability of automation workflows.
Configure the alert clear delay
-
When defining the alert, go to the Conditions tab.
For more details, see Create an alert definition.
-
Under Other Settings, locate Delay alert clearing by and enter the delay duration.
-
Save the alert.
