Perform the Patch Manager upgrade
The following procedure describes how to upgrade your Patch Manager servers to the latest release.
Patch Manager 2024.4 is compatible with all SolarWinds Platform 2024.4 products. Ensure that all SolarWinds Platform modules are updated to version 2024.4 before you upgrade. See the Product Upgrade Advisor for additional compatibility information.
See Currently supported software versions for the latest End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Engineering (EOE) announcements.
Be sure to update the SolarWinds Platform modules (such as NPM and SAM) on your SolarWinds Platform server to the latest release before you install the Patch Manager Web Console. Failure to do so may impact the stability of your SolarWinds Platform deployment. See your SolarWinds Platform product documentation for instructions.
If you have a test or staging environment, SolarWinds highly recommends testing the upgrade first. You cannot roll back an installation after it is completed.
