Patch Manager 2023.2 fixes the following issues in the Patch Manager Web Console.

After you upgrade SolarWinds Platform to the latest version, a version mismatch error no longer displays in the SolarWinds Platform Web Console.

When you log in to the SolarWinds Platform Console and navigate to Settings > All Settings > Patch Manager Settings > Web Console Database Setup, the Database Settings for Patch Manager Web Reports window now displays the correct Patch Manager database for the SQL Server account.

Patch Manager 2023.2 also fixes the following issues in the Patch Manager Administrator Console.

Before you upgrade!

If you are upgrading from a previous version, do the following:

  • Make sure your server complies with the system requirements.

  • Back up any custom code, such as changed SolarWinds .css files or added .js files. These files may be overwritten with the upgrade. Learn more.

How to upgrade

If you are upgrading from an earlier version, use the Patch Manager Installation and Upgrade Guide to help you plan and implement your upgrade. When you are ready, download the upgrade package from the SolarWinds Customer Portal.

You must be on Patch Manager 2020.2 or later to upgrade to Patch Manager 2023.2. If you are on Patch Manager 2019.4 or earlier, first upgrade to 2020.2.6 and then upgrade to 2023.2.

If you are upgrading the Patch Manager Web Console on the SolarWinds Platform server to version 2023.2, use the SolarWinds Platform Installer. Using this installer, you can upgrade the Patch Manager Web Console and your SolarWinds Platform products in one session. See the SolarWinds Platform Products Installation and Upgrade Guide for instructions.
