Install and deploy SEM

You can install SEM on Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services. See the following sections for instructions.

Starting with SEM 2026.4, you can also install the SEM Manager FIPS edition on a customer-managed Red Hat Enterprise Linux host. Installation must be a fresh install-you cannot upgrade or convert an existing SEM virtual appliance (Debian) to the FIPS edition in place.
