Enable the security settings

Configure the subject alternative name (SAN) for the IP address or FQDN/hostname in the SEM Console. The SAN name enables the SEM Manager to detect the SEM agent properly and issue a certificate.

  1. Log in to the SEM Console.
  2. On the toolbar, click the Settings button.

  1. On the Settings page, click the Security tab.

  2. In the Agents tab, click Add name.

  3. Enter a SAN name in the field. For example:

  4. Click Save.

    The SAN name is saved to your configuration.

    A message displays, confirming the update.
