Overview
Amazon CloudFront is a global content delivery network (CDN) service that securely delivers data, videos, applications, and APIs to your viewers with low latency and high transfer speeds.
Setup
Installation
If you haven't already, first set up the AWS CloudWatch integration. No additional steps are needed for installation.
Configuration
On the AWS CloudWatch integration page, ensure that the CloudFront service is selected for metric collection.

Requests

The number of requests for all HTTP methods and for both HTTP and HTTPS requests. |
BytesDownloaded
|
The number of bytes downloaded by viewers for GET, HEAD, and OPTIONS requests. |
BytesUploaded |
The number of bytes uploaded to your origin with CloudFront using POST and PUT requests. |
TotalErrorRate (percent) |
The percentage of all requests for which the HTTP status code is 4xx or 5xx. |
4xxErrorRate (percent) |
The percentage of all requests for which the HTTP status code is 4xx. |
5xxErrorRate (percent) |
The percentage of all requests for which the HTTP status code is 5xx. |
