AppOptics End of Service Life FAQ

AppOptics, SolarWinds’ extensible Application Performance Management (APM) and metrics platform, will reach its End of Service Life on September 30, 2025. After this date, customers will no longer be able to monitor their applications using AppOptics.

What is the End of Service Life for AppOptics?

SolarWinds Observability SaaS is a cutting-edge platform designed for comprehensive full-stack observability. Unlike traditional monitoring tools that focus on individual components, it provides a holistic view of your entire IT environment. With this platform, you can seamlessly monitor your full-stack infrastructure, including services and hosts, while also incorporating websites, infrastructure components, applications, databases, and network entities. As SolarWinds Observability SaaS fully addresses AppOptics use cases while offering enhanced capabilities such as full-stack visibility, we have decided to discontinue AppOptics and officially declare its End of Service Life. After September 30, 2025, AppOptics will no longer be available.

To avoid disruption, all AppOptics users must transition to SolarWinds Observability SaaS APM before the service ends. We strongly recommend beginning the transition as soon as possible to ensure a smooth migration.
