Charts and Dashboards

Our primary goal was to provide you with the tools to build dashboards that provide beautiful visual insights into your data. Dashboards are grid-based; you can place and resize individual charts by dragging them around and adjusting their resize-corners. If you resize the browser window, your charts will resize themselves to preserve their relative sizes and locations.

You can populate dashboards with different chart types such as line charts, stacked area charts, and "big number" charts, and we have more visualization types in the works. All charts are interactive, so you can zoom into date ranges, double click to deep dive ("explore" view), and hover over them to see the tool-tip.

Charts are not only for time series data. You can also document and overlay aperiodic events. Our alerts create alert notifications, so vertical markers that indicate alerts from e.g. cron-job runs, code-deployments, and more can be superimposed on any graph.

Once your colleagues see the beautiful dashboards you create they will want some too! You can share dashboards with other groups without having to create new accounts. Just use the ‘share dashboard' feature.
