Create rules in KSS — Legacy

This snippet is used for legacy 9.8.3 topics that link to a KSS NG topic of the same name.

Add rules to define the actions legacy Kiwi Syslog Server (KSS) takes when a message meets specified criteria.

  1. From the KSS Manager, choose File > Setup.

  2. In the KSS dialogue box, right-click Rules and click Add rule.
    A new rule is added to the tree.

  3. Right-click the default name. Select Rename to enter a descriptive name.
  4. Add rule filters.
  5. Add rule actions.
  6. Click OK to save your changes.
