New features and improvements in KSS
Build on February 29, 2024
This build includes an installer that has been updated with a new certificate.

This build includes the following new features, fixed issues, and improvements.
New database management for Kiwi Web Access
Kiwi Web Access now utilizes Microsoft SQLite instead of SQL Server Compact to improve efficiency and provide a more streamlined user experience.
New options for the Kiwi Web Access installer
A new installer for Kiwi Syslog Server is now available. The installer lists the required prerequisites for setting up Kiwi Web Access and detects which prerequisites are missing. Users then have the option to install the missing prerequisites from a generated list.
Install logs
Users can now view install logs to troubleshoot issues related to the KSS installation process. The default install log file path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Syslogd\install.txt
.
Other improvements
- A new version of the end user license agreement is available in the setup and installer windows.
- General security improvements.

KSS 9.8.2 fixes the following issues.
