Display interface speed for devices in a chart

If you cannot see interface speed for certain interfaces in charts, it means that logical VLANs on the interfaces were not assigned a bandwidth during an SNMP poll. The interface speed and bandwidth are not properly configured in NPM, and are set to 0.

  1. In the SolarWinds Platform Web Console, click Settings > All Settings.
  2. Under Node & Group Management, click Manage Nodes.
  3. Locate the node for which you want to display interface speed, and expand it to view interfaces.
  4. Select all interfaces for which you want to define bandwidth, and then click Edit Properties.
  5. Under Bandwidth, select the Custom Bandwidth Option.
  6. Fill in appropriate values for Transmit and Receive Bandwidth.
  7. Click Submit.

You will now be able to see interface bandwidth for the interfaces in appropriate charts in the SolarWinds Platform Web Console.
