For information about installing NetFlow Traffic Analyzer, see the SolarWinds Platform Product Installation and Upgrade Guide.

How to upgrade

Go to Settings > My Deployment to initiate the upgrade. The SolarWinds Installer upgrades your entire SolarWinds Platform deployment (all SolarWinds Platform products and any scalability engines).

  • If you are on a version earlier than NTA 2020.2.6, first upgrade to 2020.2.6 and then upgrade to 2023.1.

  • The installation path for the NetFlow service has changed. If the NetFlow Service stops receiving packets after you upgrade from 2020.2.6, verify the program path is correct: C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\NetFlowService.exe.
