Monitoring network performance is a key capability of SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted (formerly Hybrid Cloud Observability) and is available in the Essentials edition. Network Performance Monitor (NPM) is also available in a standalone module.

Percent Utilization

The Percent Utilization resource provides a graphical representation of the percentage of interface resources that are currently being used for receiving and transmitting data on your monitored network.

Change the type and size of the gauge

  1. Click Edit to open the Custom Type Gauges page.
  2. Edit the Title and Subtitle, select the gauge style and size, and click Submit.

    3. Available gauge styles are shown in the lower field at 100% sizing. Gauges may be sized over the range 30‑250% of the displayed size.
