API-based monitoring for Fortinet FortiManager devices
For Fortinet devices, you can poll edge nodes as API-only nodes. Edge devices can also be polled as SNMP node but we won’t link them to orchestrator in any manner.

API-only polling for edge nodes provides both basic details and SD-WAN details.
Use a separate API user for SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted to ensure that polling is not affected by the session limit.
