Investigate performance issues with DPA
DPA uses an approach called wait-based analysis to help you focus on issues that provide the greatest performance improvements. Query advisors and table advisors identify performance issues and help you find the root cause. Anomaly detection identifies queries with wait times significantly higher than normal.
See the following topics for information about using DPA to investigate performance issues:
Use the Trends charts to view data about wait times for an instance
Access DPA query, table, or index advisors
View detailed information about a query
Investigate inefficient queries running against a table
Investigate violations of table tuning best practices
Configuration options and troubleshooting for PostgreSQL and MySQL table and index advisors
Identify blocking sessions and deadlocks with DPA
Find and investigate unusually long wait times (anomalies)
