DPAIM 2023.1.1 release notes

These release notes describe the changes in this release of the Database Performance Analyzer Integration Module (DPAIM). They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

Fixed issues
DPAIM 2023.1.1 is a service release that provides stability enhancements. DPAIM 2023.1.1 runs on SolarWinds Platform 2023.1.1. See also the SolarWinds Platform 2023.1.1 Release Notes.
New customer installation
DPAIM can be installed in either of the following ways: With SolarWinds SAM

Standalone (SAM not required)
If you do not plan to install SAM, download and run the SolarWinds Platform Installer to install DPAIM as a separate product. You can install DPAIM alone, or you can install DPAIM with other SolarWinds Platform products such as SolarWinds SRM.
After you install DPAIM, you must set up the DPA Integration Module.
How to upgrade
Use the SolarWinds Installer to upgrade your entire SolarWinds Platform deployment (all SolarWinds Platform products and any scalability engines).
Known issues

Issue: The date on Wait Time Trends resources is one day behind for environments where the DPA server and SolarWinds Platform server in different time zones. The affected resources are:

| Resolution/Work-around: Set the DPA and SolarWinds Platform servers to the same time zone. |
| DPAIM stops working after failover |
|---|
| Issue: If you have High Availability configured, the DPA Integration Module stops working when a failover occurs after you re-integrate with a previously integrated DPA server. |
| Resolution/Work-around: Re-integrate the DPA server. |
End of life
For modules based on Orion Platform 2020.2.6 and earlier, SolarWinds is announcing future end-of-life plans for your convenience. As always, SolarWinds recommends you upgrade to the latest version of your products at your earliest convenience.

DPAIM is automatically installed with SolarWinds SAM. If you have SAM, all you have to do is set up the integration module.
