Monitor NetApp FAS/AFF arrays in SRM using the NetApp ONTAP REST API

NetApp FAS/AFF arrays can be monitored directly through the ONTAP REST API.

For information on enabling these arrays, see the Enable a NetApp FAS/AFF (ONTAP REST API) array knowledge base article.

After the array is enabled, you can begin monitoring as described in Add your storage array for monitoring with SRM.

Hardware Health Monitoring is available for the following sensors in NetApp FAS/AFF arrays:

• Fans
• FC ports
• Power Supply
• SAS ports
• Temperature
