Start a support session

Generate a PIN code to immediately start a support session and attend to customer issues. To initiate a new support session, generate a PIN code and send it to your customer. Each PIN Code has a variable expiration and you can generate a different code for each customer you support.

  1. In the Console, click and select Start New Session under the New Session tab.

  2. There are two methods to start the session:
    1. Share the PIN code. You can either click the PIN code in the Console to send to the customer, or direct them to to enter the code.
    2. Share the support link. You can send the support link to the customer via email by clicking in the Console

The customer can use the PIN code or support link to download the applet and request a support session. A Technician can accept the request to start the support session and provide assistance to the customer.
