DRE FIPS 140-2 Compliant Components Letter

SolarWinds provides this FIPS 140-2 Compliant Components Letter to inform federal government customers which encryption algorithms are used in the Dameware Remote Everywhere (DRE) product. This document is based on instructions found in the NIST Cryptographic Module Validation program document and outlines that the DRE product, for the purposes of establishing the remote sessions, only runs the cryptographic modules listed.

DRE Product Versions

This document covers the DRE product versions listed below. Service releases generally contain bug fixes that do not impact FIPS compliance. Accordingly, all Service Releases (identified by an incrementing third set of digits) for listed versions are also certified.

DREuses FIPS (140-2)-compliant cryptographic library modules to help improve security between Windows® and Mac® devices. All versions of Take Control operate with AES256 cryptography.
