SolarWinds Platform 2022.4 and all associated modules have been replaced by version 2022.4.1. See VNQM 2022.4.1 release notes and SolarWinds Platform 2022.4.1 release notes in addition to VNQM 2022.4 release notes.
These release notes describe new features, improvements, and fixed issues in VoIP and Network Quality Manager 2022.4. They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

New features and improvements in VNQM 2022.4
VNQM 2022.4 offers new features and improvements compared to previous releases of VNQM.
VNQM 2022.4 runs on SolarWinds Platform 2022.4. In addition, VNQM is now installed with the new SolarWinds Installer.

Support for Juniper RPM devices
VNQM now supports monitoring operations from Juniper RPM devices. The new All RPM Operations widget lists each operation monitored by SolarWinds VNQM grouped by operation property. The monitored operations are listed in a tree, grouped by operation property, with a status icon and the operation name displayed for each operation.
New customer installation

How to upgrade
Use the SolarWinds Installer to upgrade your entire SolarWinds Platform deployment (all SolarWinds Platform products and any scalability engines) to the current versions.
You must be on VNQM 2020.2.1 or later to upgrade to VNQM 2022.4. If you are on VNQM 2020.2 or earlier, first upgrade to 2020.2.6 and then upgrade to 2022.4.
You can upgrade your entire SolarWinds Platform deployment from the My Deployment page. Downloading the SolarWinds Installer is no longer necessary.
If you are upgrading from an earlier version, use this topic to plan and implement an upgrade to the current version of VNQM.
Fixed issues
As VNQM now runs on the SolarWinds Platform, VNQM 2022.4 contains all of the fixed issues from the previous SolarWinds Platform 2022.2 and SolarWinds Platform 2022.3 releases as well as the new SolarWinds Platform 2022.4 release.

Deprecation notice
This version of VoIP and Network Quality Manager deprecates the following platforms and features.
Deprecated platforms and features are still supported in the current release. However, they will be unsupported in a future release. Plan on upgrading deprecated platforms, and avoid using deprecated features.
