Remove custom properties for a remote SolarWinds site in EOC
There are scenarios in which you cannot delete a custom property. For example, if a custom property is in use by a more advanced process, such as view limitations on a remote site, the property cannot be deleted until that process no longer references the custom property.
- Log in to EOC as an administrator.
- Click Settings > All Settings in the menu bar.
- In the Node & Group Management grouping, click Manage Custom Properties.
- Select properties you want to remove, and click Delete.
When deleting a property that is used by other elements on a remote site, you will receive a caution message. SolarWinds recommends updating the element definitions before deleting the property.
