Documentation forEnterprise Operations Console
Unified data management across your enterprise is a key capability of SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted (formerly Hybrid Cloud Observability) and is available in the Enterprise Scale edition. Enterprise Operations Console (EOC) is also available in a standalone module.

Display maps from SolarWinds Sites in EOC

You can import maps from any SolarWinds Site and add them to a view in EOC.

You do not need to enable Automatic Geolocation in EOC. To use the Automatic Geolocation feature, it must be enabled on the SolarWinds Site from which the map is imported. For more information, see Place nodes automatically on the Worldwide Map in the SolarWinds Platform.

Importing wireless heat maps is not supported if you are using Intelligent Maps in EOC. EOC does not support wireless heat maps.

Import maps

  1. Log in to EOC as an administrator.
  2. Click Settings > All Settings.
  3. In the Product Specific Settings group, click EOC Settings.
  4. Click Import maps.

The Import Maps From Remote Sites page lists the maps available on all SolarWinds Sites. By default, maps are listed alphabetically by map name.

  5. To filter the maps by SolarWinds Site, select the sites to include under Filter Results in the left pane.
  6. Select the maps you want to import, and click Next.
  7. Review the list of selected maps, and click Next.
  8. When the maps are imported, click Done.

You can now add the maps to views underneath the Enterprise Maps menu.

Imported map definitions are not automatically updated in EOC. If the map definition changes on the SolarWinds Site, reimport the map to view the updated version in EOC.
