Documentation forVirtualization Manager
Monitoring virtual environments is a key capability of SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted (formerly Hybrid Cloud Observability) and is available in the Advanced edition. Virtualization Manager (VMAN) is also available in a standalone module.

Adding virtual systems in VMAN

With VMAN, you can monitor and manage VMware vCenter servers and ESX hosts, Hyper-V hosts, and Nutanix clusters.

You can also monitor AWS cloud instances and volumes, which is covered in the VMAN Admin Guide. This guide shows you how to add a vCenter server, Hyper-V host, or Nutanix cluster to monitor in VMAN.

See Supported versions of VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, and Nutanix for monitoring to confirm which versions of vCenter Server, Hyper-V or Windows Server, or Nutanix are supported in VMAN.

After you're logged into the SolarWinds Platform Web Console, it's easy to start adding VMware vCenters, HyperV hosts, and Nutanix clusters.
