This feature temporarily suspends notifications for alerts that typically auto-resolve quickly.
-
Data science techniques assess the frequency of similar alerts demonstrating transient behavior in the past.
-
If an alert is frequently classified as transient, the Auto Pause Transient Alerts (APTA) algorithm will suspend alert notifications for the pause period set for that given Service.

Daylight Saving Time Adjustment
Improvement
As we approach that time of the year when the clocks fall back, it's essential to ensure you're prepared for the upcoming change in time. Here's what you should be aware of:
Action Required:
Time-based Suppression - The time zone is not automatically adjusted to DST changes. Users need to configure it to reflect DST behavior.
That's all, our system handles the time adjustment for the rest, namely:
-
Schedules: The system will automatically accommodate DST changes.
-
Maintenance Window: Your user profile's time zone settings will be inherited, so any changes there will be reflected.
-
User Profile Time Zone: DST adjustments are automatically taken care of by our system.
-
Status Page Time Zone: Our system also handles DST changes for status page time zones.
If you encounter any challenges while updating time-based suppression configuration, you can reach out to our support team via the chat widget or by emailing support@squadcast.com.

With Global Event Rulesets, you can create rulesets for alert routing, streamlining your configuration management and saving valuable time. This centralized approach is especially beneficial for users dealing with multiple micro-services.
To get started on the configuration, check out our Global Event Rulesets Documentation.

Introducing Past Incidents - Leverage historical data for quicker incident resolution.
This feature helps incident responders by presenting them with past incidents related to the same service.
-
It employs data science techniques to match and display a historical list of similar incidents from the same service you are currently investigating.
-
This aids in expediting issue resolution by offering valuable insights, such as historical context, prior incident details, timing patterns, and past solutions.
To know more about how to use this, check out our Past Incidents Documentation.

Key Benefits:
-
Personalized Incident Details: Tailor incident messages and descriptions to your needs.
-
